PART 2: Social Media -- Control It Before It Controls You
Lessons Learned from the "Man with the Golden Voice"
Wednesday, March 2 at 11:00 AM (ET) 10:00 AM CT / 9:00 AM MT / 8:00 AM PT

Speakers: Benjamin Marrison, Editor, and Alan Miller, Managing Editor/News, The Columbus Dispatch

When a Columbus Dispatch photographer used his Flip Video camera to record the amazing voice of a homeless man, no one at The Dispatch was ready for what came next...pirating of the video from Dispatch.com; a viral explosion of interest in the video; the homeless man and the photographer who made him famous; and a crush of phone calls and emails from people around the world seeking a piece of all three. The Dispatch staff learned a lot about how (and how not) to handle video on the web, and members of its staff will share insights and tips from that experience during this webinar.
