USPS and Valassis

Valassis and the U.S. Postal Service have proposed a "Negotiated Service Agreement" (NSA) to give Valassis discount pricing from 20-36% for new marriage mail packages started in existing markets on another day of the week. NNA Postal Chair Max Heath, at the request of Local Media Association will explain the details of the proposal, what it could mean for newspapers' preprinted advertising revenue, and what may be done to stop it.

Areas to be covered to include information regarding the NSA agreement, the type of advertisers at risk and how newspaper can respond to the filing.
