New for 2014

Contest entries are judged in three classifications based on each web site's unique monthly visitors.

  • Class A: Individual web sites produced by a local media company with less than 100,000 monthly unique visitors.
  • Class B: Web site(s) produced by a local media company with monthly unique visitors between 100,001 and 500,000.
  • Class C: Web site(s) produced by a local media company with more than 500,001 monthly unique visitors.

NOTE: If entering a contest category where the entry is shared across multiple web sites operated by the same media company the monthly unique visitor count of all web sites determines the classification.

ELIGBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Open to all local media companies.

ELIGIBILITY:

For entries that include initiatives that are not live on your current site, the contest eligibility period is February 1, 2013 through March 1, 2014.

Each local media company may submit an unlimited number of entries within each category, as long as the entries are submitted in the proper classification in which they qualify. In other words, if you have separate editorial efforts for each of your company’s individual local media efforts, you may submit separate entries for each local media effort, but the classification you enter is to be based on the total monthly unique visitors.

DEADLINE:

All entries and payments must be received no later than midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Entries received after the entry deadline will not be accepted.

ENTRY FEES*:

Local media company fees are $45 for the first entry plus $35 for each additional entry from the same company.
